Battlecraft: Marsfall is an early-stage Sorceress game project and founder support page. It presents the game concept, hero video, prototype screenshots and concept art, planned gameplay pillars, live supporter progress, founder tiers, and a one-time support checkout flow.
Battlecraft is described as a massively multiplayer voxel first-person shooter set on Mars, combining jetpack momentum combat, destructible terrain, player-built bases, vehicles, aircraft, mechs, and one persistent battlefront.
Current status
Battlecraft: Marsfall is in development. Early Access has not launched yet.
The page states that you can pledge now to reserve a founder tier. Access will open when the first alpha build is ready, and the initial multiplayer map is expected soon. Because the project is still early-stage, treat the Battlecraft page as a project showcase and founder support page rather than a playable public release.
The Battlecraft page does not currently provide a downloadable game build or browser-playable game build.
What Battlecraft is
Battlecraft: Marsfall is introduced with the tagline:
“If Tribes 2, Minecraft and Planetside had a baby... and exiled it to Mars.”
The concept is a large shared Martian war zone where players fight, build, destroy, tunnel, reshape terrain, and push an evolving front line. The intended experience combines fast first-person combat with voxel construction and terrain deformation, so the battlefield itself becomes part of the strategy.
The page also identifies the project as a voxel MMOFPS and a solo-developed Sorceress game project.

Key gameplay pillars
The gameplay features shown on the page are planned pillars for Battlecraft: Marsfall.
Persistent single battlefront
Battlecraft is built around one enormous Martian war zone. The page describes fortresses, tunnels, trenches, and battlefield scars as part of the same living conflict rather than isolated matches.
Jetpack-and-ski movement
Movement is planned around high-skill momentum combat. Players will skim red dunes, chain boosts off crater rims, and launch into enemy bases using jetpack-style traversal.
Fully voxel battlefield
The world is voxel-based. The page describes walls, bridges, bunkers, ridges, and bases as terrain or structures that can be destroyed, built, tunneled through, or reshaped in real time.
Terrain as strategy
Battlecraft emphasizes tactical use of terrain. Examples on the page include carving firing lanes, collapsing bridges, digging bunkers into mountains, and terraforming the battlefield to control the flow of war.
Class-based FPS combat
The planned combat structure includes multiple battlefield roles. The page names light skirmishers, heavy assault, engineers, snipers, pilots, and builders as examples of roles that push the front line in different ways.
Vehicles, aircraft, and mechs
Battlecraft also presents larger-scale warfare. The page mentions crawlers, hover tanks, dropships, aircraft, and towering voxel war machines for moving squads and heavy firepower across the battlefield.
Prototype visuals
The Prototype visuals section contains a mix of early in-game screenshots, concept art, and voxel unit studies from the Battlecraft prototype. The page describes the set as showing terrain, FPS weapons, mechs, soldiers, and the block-by-block Mars battlefield.
The media currently shown includes:
- Voxel Mars battlefield — labeled concept art
- Momentum combat over broken terrain — labeled in-game screenshot
- Mechs and destructible structures — labeled in-game screenshot
- Large Martian combat spaces — labeled in-game screenshot
- Voxel armored marine — labeled concept art
- Infantry and drone scale study — labeled concept art
Because Battlecraft is still in development, these visuals should be understood as prototype and development-stage material. They communicate the intended tone, scale, and direction of the game rather than a final representation of the released product.
Founder support campaign
Battlecraft uses a one-time founder support model. Every donation level listed on the page includes:
- Early access when the first alpha builds open
- The full game when it releases
- A claimable in-game founder rank based on the selected tier
The support area lets you choose a tier, optionally edit the support amount, and continue to secure checkout while signed in.
The page also clearly labels Battlecraft as an early-stage game and displays the reminder:

How to support Battlecraft
Custom support amounts
Selecting a tier fills the support amount with that tier’s default amount. You can then edit the amount before checkout.
Important behavior:
- The support amount must be at least 1 USD.
- If the amount is below 1 USD, the checkout button is disabled.
- The selected founder tier determines the rank and tier label shown in the support panel.
- Changing the amount does not automatically change the selected tier. To change your founder rank, manually select a different tier.
For example, if you select Vanguard and then edit the amount field, the payment strip remains associated with Vanguard unless you choose another supporter level.
Payment options
The page supports secure checkout. PayPal is available as a payment method.
The checkout button updates to match the selected method, such as paying with PayPal or paying with card.
Account requirements
You must be signed in to support Battlecraft.
If you select the support button while signed out, the button reads Sign in to support and sends you to the login page. After signing in, you can return to Battlecraft and continue.
Your Sorceress account also needs an email address before checkout can begin. If your account does not have one, the page displays:
Your account needs an email address before checkout.
Supporter totals and progress
When supporter data is available, the top support panel shows live campaign progress, including:
- Total USD raised
- Current fundraising goal
- A progress bar toward that goal
- Number of supporters
The panel also provides quick links to:
- Become a Supporter — jumps to the supporter tier section
- View prototype screenshots — jumps to the prototype visuals section
If supporter totals are still loading, the panel displays a loading message instead.
Fundraising goals
The page displays the next fundraising goal based on the current amount raised. Goal milestones shown by the page are:
- 5,000 USD
- 10,000 USD
- 25,000 USD
- 50,000 USD
- 100,000 USD
- 250,000 USD
- 500,000 USD
As the total raised passes a milestone, the displayed goal advances to the next listed milestone.
Founder wall
When there are supporters to show, the page displays a Founder wall titled “The first settlers of Marsfall.”
The founder wall has two views:
- Recent — shows recent supporters
- Top — shows supporters sorted by support amount
The list displays up to 15 entries in the selected view. Each entry shows:
- An anonymized supporter name
- The supporter tier label
- The support date, shown as month and day
- The support amount
For privacy, the public wall does not show full email addresses. Display names are abbreviated.
Tips and troubleshooting
I clicked support and was sent to login
That is expected if you are not signed in. Sign in or create an account, then return to Battlecraft to continue checkout.

You are not currently signed in. Select the button to go to login, then come back to Battlecraft after signing in.
The payment button is disabled
Check the support amount. The amount must be at least 1 USD. Also wait if the button says Processing..., because a checkout attempt is already in progress.
I see “Your account needs an email address before checkout”
Checkout requires an email address on your Sorceress account. Use an account with an email address or update your account before trying again.
I completed support but do not see myself on the founder wall immediately
Supporter totals may take a short time to refresh. The public wall also uses an anonymized display name, so it may not show your full email or account name.
