Separated picking up food from eating
Aurelie can pick up and drop food with G, eat with F, and show what she is carrying in a dedicated badge.
I separated food handling into deliberate actions. G picks up a nearby fish or fruit, or drops what Aurelie is already carrying. F eats. Left mouse stays an attack, so carrying food no longer makes the basic actions ambiguous.
I added a held-item badge with the item name, remaining bites and control hints. Aurelie also cradles a held fish in her arms while standing, so her pose and the interface tell the same story.
“Picking something up should not mean eating it by accident.”
The clip shows picking up a fish, dropping it, picking it up again and taking a bite. Her hunger meter rises after eating. The fish was placed on the ground before recording to demonstrate these controls; this is not a demonstration of catching a swimming fish.
