Fixed distant terrain-height cache collisions
Vehicles now use coordinate-pair height keys so distant Expedition positions cannot share incorrect support samples.
I found terrain-cache keys colliding at distant Expedition coordinates, with focused height errors of eight to ten metres.
Coordinate-pair keys now keep those locations separate. The regression compares cached chassis support against actual terrain samples.
“I found terrain-cache keys colliding at distant Expedition coordinates, with focused height errors of eight to ten metres.”
The corrected saved world was loaded on the RTX 3060 and vehicle placement was inspected alongside the Armies screen.
The evaluation has now reached twenty simulated hours with successful reloads through hour twenty. It used saved-world continuations and a protected-hero fixture with worms disabled. The terrain correction is verified, but a persistent vehicle jam and separate deposit congestion remain; this is not a clean reliability or normal-survival sign-off.
