Added time acceleration and fixed dusk freezes
Speed up the day and night cycle without speeding up Aurelie, and cross dusk without rebuilding the lighting shaders.
I added Numpad + and - controls for the day and night clock. They step between normal time and 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100 times speed, with a badge showing the current setting.
Only the world clock accelerates. Walking, flying and character animation retain their normal pace, making it easier to inspect changing light without changing how the bird behaves.
“Speed up the day and night cycle without speeding up Aurelie, and cross dusk without rebuilding the lighting shaders.”
This exposed the long freeze at sunset and sunrise: changing the visible firefly lights was forcing the renderer to rebuild scene shaders.
I kept those lights in the scene and reduced their daytime intensity to zero, with their effects prepared during startup. The transition checks no longer created new shaders; the clip demonstrates the clock and lighting, not a real-time performance benchmark.
