Expanded Willowglass Lake to 288 meters

Willowglass doubled in width and length, turning the familiar center into one part of a larger landscape instead of the whole map.

Project Feathers / Field capture

Flight feels wrong when the world ends before the creature has time to settle into it. The original Willowglass Lake kept its authored center, water, spawn, and practice route, but the surrounding terrain now extends to 288 by 288 meters—double the old width and length.

The expansion is not an invisible safety plane. A broad outer slope continues the rendered terrain away from the original bowl, so crossing the old boundary remains part of the landscape. The old center still reads as home; it simply no longer reads as the entire world.

The old lake is still home; it just is not the edge of the world anymore.

This was also the point where the control scheme stopped pretending one mouse style fits every situation. Loose mode keeps a free cursor for broad, readable steering. Tight mode restores direct relative control. Each has a ground and flight behavior, and takeoff or landing moves between the matching pair without dropping held movement.

The larger map and the two control styles support the same goal: let the player choose a line, build momentum, and stay in the air long enough for that choice to matter.
