Cleaned up fox ears, muzzle and distant fur
Revised grooming masks and lighting make the fox coat more consistent across camera distances.
Project Feathers / Field recording
I cleaned up the fox grooming masks around the ears and muzzle, retained the thin ear geometry and normals, and matched the fur lighting more closely to the underlying pelt.
I also reduced distant tufts and corrected WebGPU ear self-shadow artifacts. The native studio footage inspects the fox at close, medium and far camera distances, with deliberate paused model holds.

The source checks cover the normal and optimized fox variants in both WebGL and WebGPU. Hair-card silhouettes can still be visible close up; these captures are a coat inspection, not a frame-rate benchmark.
