Built the first wasteland character roster
Nine low-poly soldiers, raiders, medics, scouts, and machine forms established the visual language for Survived before the first mission existed.

Survived began with bodies rather than a map. The first day produced a roster of low-poly soldiers and machine forms designed to remain readable from a tactical camera.
Ivory riflemen, sage rangers, oxide assault armor, a chalk medic, raiders, and the CICADA machine established the silhouettes later used by the squad and its enemies.
“The first design problem was making a soldier readable before there was a battlefield.”
The pieces were built to separate into helmets, torso plates, guards, limbs, weapons, and equipment. That early modularity made later armor damage and anatomical injury possible.
By the end of the character pass, the project had a visual rule: compact forms, clear colors, and equipment that explains a unit before the interface does.
