Campaign update··6 min read
Added the Waystation Nine campaign
A solo survivor can now trade, recruit companions, accept contracts, and return to a persistent desert outpost between operations.

Survived / Field capture
Waystation Nine became the first campaign home: a roadside outpost where a lone survivor can prepare before taking work into the wastes.
Four traders cover armor, weapons, companions, and contracts. Credits, stock, recruited soldiers, and completed work persist in the campaign save.
“The campaign found its center when the squad had somewhere to return after the road.”
The camp runs in the same exploration layer as the battlefield, so approaching a stall or another survivor is a world action rather than a separate map screen.
Adding a place to return changed the meaning of equipment and injury. A rifle can be bought for the next contract, and a recruit can become part of the group that returns.
